Classic Flyers Aeroplane Museum

Showcasing Classic and Vintage aircraft as well as operational machines, along with static and hands on displays like sitting inside a Hawker Hunter and memorabilia of the WW2 era.

There is also a Military Museum and a Café to purchase a tasty coffee or some yummy food while appreciating all the surroundings.

Tauranga City Centre

With Tauranga being the 5th largest city in New Zealand the centre of town is an absolute must see! You will find our unique outdoor shopping strip a relaxing environment to browse the variety of boutique stores with lots of high street fashion on offer.

The Elms Mission House

Step back into the past with a visit to The Elms in Mission Street (formerly the Te Papa Mission Station). The 1839 library is the oldest in New Zealand and the Mission House was built in Georgian style in 1847.

The historic garden is free to all visitors. There is a small charge to see inside the House and Library.
